It takes the black Submariner Date and scales it up into an 80mm desk object, keeping the dial, hands, bezel, and Cyclops date that make the Submariner instantly recognisable.

The body is hemispherical 316L stainless steel that sits in a ring base so you can tilt it to any angle, with a genuine fixed Cerachrom ceramic bezel, a sapphire crystal with the Cyclops lens over the date, and a glossy black lacquer dial with Chromalight lume that glows blue. Being a clock, it is not water resistant and the bezel does not rotate. Inside is a newly developed Swiss quartz movement, Caliber 8335, with a secular calendar that self-corrects for month lengths, leap years, and even century exceptions, so the date stays right without adjustment for centuries.

As a first-of-its-kind release with very limited distribution, it has drawn immediate collector attention, with early secondary sales running above retail.
