Panthère de Cartier ring Ref. N4225200

Description
The Panthère de Cartier ring is the house's emblem worn on the finger, a panther curling around the band with its head and tail meeting. The animal entered Cartier's collections in 1914 under Louis Cartier, but it was Jeanne Toussaint, the creative director nicknamed La Panthère, who turned it into the signature Cartier has built on ever since.
This is the medium model, fully paved: 18K white gold set with brilliant-cut diamonds across the whole body, around 285 stones totalling roughly 2.39 carats. The face carries the details that make the motif work, pear-shaped emeralds for the eyes and onyx for the nose, the small touches of colour that stop the piece from being simply a diamond ring and give it its expression.
Because Cartier balances the setting to each size, the exact stone count, carat weight and dimensions vary slightly from ring to ring. At Konesseur, every piece is authenticated before listing, and the UAE's 5% VAT is a meaningful advantage on Cartier high jewellery.
