Hermès Kelly Cut Swift Orange PHW

The Hermès Kelly Cut is the clutch version of the Kelly, an elongated, flat take on the bag that Jean-Paul Gaultier introduced for Hermès in 2008. It keeps the Kelly's signature details, the front flap, the two straps across the top, and the touret turn-lock, stretched into a slim envelope shape. This one is in orange Swift leather with palladium hardware, the silver-tone finish that sits cool against the warm orange.

It measures about 31cm long, 13cm high, and just 2.5cm deep, so it holds evening essentials like a phone, cardholder, lipstick, and keys, with one slip pocket inside. There is a single flat top handle, which means you can carry it in the hand, under the arm, or by the handle. Swift is one of Hermès' softest, most colour-saturated leathers, which is what makes the orange so rich, though it is more delicate than grained leathers and shows marks more easily.

This is a 2015 piece in pre-owned condition that shows some signs of wear, in line with its age and use, and it comes with its box.
