Goyard Belvedere PM Bag Red

Description
The Goyard Belvédère PM is one of the house's most charming everyday bags, a compact half-moon crossbody with genuine history behind it. Goyard began as a family of log drivers, and the Belvédère is a reinterpretation of the small bag those workers carried to hold their food on the job. It takes its name from the belvedere, the viewpoint, overlooking Clamecy and the clearings of the Morvan Forest, where the Goyard family came from. Few luxury bags carry a story quite so literal.
This one is in red Goyardine, the house's coated chevron canvas, trimmed in Decize Taurillon leather with palladium hardware, and lined in Goyard's signature yellow cotton. For a small bag it is well organised: two interior pockets at the front, a patch pocket inside the back, and an exterior patch pocket, closed with a leather tab and metal loop. At 22 by 7 by 16cm and just 380g it is genuinely light, easy to wear all day on its adjustable crossbody strap.
It suits men and women equally, and works as readily for errands as for an evening out. At Konesseur, every Goyard piece is authenticated before listing, and because the house sells through very few boutiques and produces in small numbers, its bags are difficult to source.
